Brief Introduction

Qiang Xu is an Assistant Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From 2019 to 2020, he was a visiting scholar  with the Rapid Rich Object Search Lab, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. After graduation, he joined the City University of Hong Kong as a postdoctoral fellow.  His research focuses on AI Security, and Multimedia Forensics and Security .He has published over 50 papers in top-tier journals or conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS), IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM), and ACM Multimedia. He undertakes several projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program), Shanghai Pujiang Program, Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai. He has also participated in projects funded by the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission, the National Key R&D Program. Qiang Xu is a recipient of the Shanghai Talent Program (Pujiang-A and Youth Projects).  His awards include the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, Best Paper Awards at International Conferences. He serves as a committee member of the Technical Committee on Digital Media Forensics and Security. He is also a guest editor for Mathematics, technical program committee member and area chair for major conferences including ICASSP and ACM IH&MMSec, and a reviewer for more than 20 journals including TIFS, TMM, TCSVT, Journal of Communications, and Journal of Network and Information Security.
