Research

My recent work has been focused on enabling machines to understand human languages. This is one of the most challenging tasks in artificial intelligence. My approach of tackling this task is to extract structured knowledge from massive text and develop models to reason among the concepts, actions and events within the human language using the knowledge.

I'm leading the Advanced Data And Programming Technology Lab (ADAPT-Lab) .
